Christ is the center of our ministry; He is the sun, we are the rays; as rays we are called upon to brighten some dark corners and in so doing point back to the Source of light. We bow to no banner but to that of the Lord of Lords.
Evangelism is our way of life; we shall strive to preach Christ both with words and deeds. We wholeheartedly agree that “if no one reaches out, no one gets touched.” It is God, not us, who sets the boundary of His kingdom.
Nurturance is our commitment to one another; we exist to help others grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Truth is our guidepost in our earthly pilgrimage. The Bible is both God’s love letter to the world and His blueprint for the church.
Relevance is our way into people’s hearts; the house of God is not only the pillar and ground of truth, but also a hospital for hurting souls.
Empathy is putting our being into the person. We don’t immediately judge one’s attitude, but we understand, feel, are aware and sensitive to his strengths and weaknesses so that we know how we could possibly respond to his needs.
Perseverance is our determination to win by pressing very hard toward our common goal– the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, in spite of obstacles, counter influences and oppositions.
Optimism is our attitude to change darkness to light, bad to good, wickedness to righteousness, sorrow to gladness, loneliness to happiness and hell to heaven.
Inspiration is our aspiration; we aspire for greater work for God’s greater glory, a grander purpose in life and a grander home in Heaven.
Noteworthy -we strive to paint our images in the best way we can, so that we are worthy to be emulated by both present and later generations; we need to write noble things on the pages of our lives, so we don’t have to regret after reading them in the end.
Teamwork is valuing service over position, fellowshipping over rivalry, mentoring people over making monuments. As a team we are leaders among equal, and our leadership is servanthood.
