img_8653Everybody  loves it! Looking just like we want it too! God bless the good heart and spirit of our brethren from Legacy Church of Christ, Texas, USA for lending us the needed fund for our 2 months deposit and 1 month advance. Eventually, God made a way for us to move from Samson’s building to 2nd Floor Hamada building along Upper Mabini street, Baguio City (corner Session Road). Yes, we’ve got the new and spacious venue through prayer and help…. Thanks God! Attached herewith are some pictures taken during our first Sunday at the new worship venue with John Rey Dayucos (our pulpit minister for almost 2 years now) preaching on the img_8665topic of “Maximazing our God given talent” and all of us are truly encouraged and reactivated to do more for God’s glory! It is threfore our humble and ardent prayer that one of you could visit us, our mission and see our new place of worship.  See you around!

2009 CCofC PLANS AND PROGRAM

Again, every year is exciting! Full of new experience and communication with impact. It is a year to look back and see the hand of God upon our mission and ministry through the year, sustaining us and preparing our steps for years of fruitful service to our fellow men especially to Him – our great God. In behalf of the Centrepoint Church of Christ, I would like to thank you for all the prayers that you have offered for the tremendous growth of this congregation. Also, to inform you the following:

LEADERSHIP MEETING JANUARY 06: The paragon team (CCofC leaders) met together to finally discuss and implement the plans and programs of the Church for the whole year 2009 before presenting it to the congregation on the 4th Sunday of this month.

THREE FULL TIME WORKERS ARE READY! Emil D. Panday (supported by CCofC), Samuel C. Seridio and Bemz Banggawan Jr (supported by the mission fund) have finally decided to commit themselves to be full time workers of the Lord. It is our conviction that they are God-given men of God to serve the Lord and His Church. They are not hired but asked to help in growing the Church to become self-sustaining congregation. Let us pray for them as they are ready to face the new challenge this year hence DOUBLING the number and GROWING the Church to become self-sustaining congregation.

SAMUEL SERIDIO IS BACK! Due to the demand of nurturing and discipling the membership of the Centrepoint Church and its 6 house worships around Baguio, Samuel Seridio , our NEW full time minister of the Centrepoint Church, is commitedly doing his task starting this January 2009 until 2010. Samuel has been away from his wife and daughter doing his mission work in San Carlos City for 3 years, now, this is the time for them to unite each other and serve the Church together for God’s glory!. Note: Samuel and family is one of the intrumentals of establishing the Centrepoint Church. As to recall, there are five families whom I tapped to join me in Baguio mission work: Scott Saboy, Emmanuel Layco, Alex Coloma, Samuel Seridio and Marlon Walang.

ERWIN PANDAY MOVES! After serving the Centrepoint Church as a pultpit minister for 2 years (2005-2006) and a minister of CCofC (2007-2008) for 2 years, Erwin Panday moves to the next level of his ministry as the WBS internet and postal National coordinator. We are all glad and thankful for his untiring and unconditional support to our Baguio mission work. May God contiues to pour out all His blessing to him and his family as they devote themselves in serving the Lord.

ALEX B. COLOMA TAKES A NEW ROLE! Starting this year, Alex has given up his support from the mission fund as he takes a new role as one of the key leaders of Centepoint Church and a key person of the livelihood project of the Churches of Christ. He and his family would still and will always work for and be with CCofC and its ministries in fact he is still be directing the Philippine Missionary Academy Baguio. Yes, Alex is taking a new role as the KEY PERSON on the Goat raising and Despersal project as part of Salvador Cariaga’s new strategy of reaching out the lost – TOUCHING the heart before ASKING the hand! Apparently, Alex is now a self supporting worker.

Let us pray for the continuous growth of the Centrepoint Church in Baguio City which is located at 2nd Floor Hamada Building, Upper Mabini Street accross Tiongsan Mabini. Let us also pray for its three full time workers, Let us also pray for Erwin Panday and Alex Coloma for taking their new roles this year onward.

LST TEAM WENT BACK HOME…The recent Let’s Start Talking (LST) program that we have hosted for 6 weeks in Baguio City now went back home with joy in their hearts because of its success! We got a hundred quality prospects and we are now doing a massive follow up. We have lots of scheduled home Bible Studies in coordination with Bemz Banggawan as the LST follow up team leader. Oh, by the way, during the LST reading sessions from June-July13,  there were 3 souls who were baptized in addition to our 8 baptisms last June 28, 2008.
JOHN REY DAYUCOS, A NEW PULPIT MINISTER…..! The Centrepoint Church of Christ  has just seen John Rey and his family fitted to be the edifier and encourager of CCofC family. JOHN REY is a long time friend of Erwin Panday(CCofC Minister)    one of the professors of University of Cordilleras, a resident of Baguio, Married to Sister Juliet Dayucos with 3 kids and has been taking up Law course.  He is an active member of the Baguio Church of Christ and been preaching for long. His passion is really on edifying members through his very powerful and inspiring messages from the word of God.

img_5114SAMUEL C. SERIDIO, NEW CCofC MINISTER. Year 2002 when the Seridio Family has decided to join in the Baguio Mission Team formed by Alex B. Coloma to establish a congregation at the central business district of Baguio hence the Centrepoint Church of Christ was launched on February 9, 2003. Samuel served as one of the evangelist with Centrepoint Church. Year 2005 when he led a team to plant a Church in San Carlos City, Pangasinan. He stayed and worked there until 2008. Due to the need of him to be with his family in Baguio City, he finally accepted the offer of the Centrepoint Church for him to be the minister from 2009-2010. Lord willing, it would be extended after 2 years. Let us pray for him and his family that they will be blessed more richly as they serve the Church and the Lord. To God be the glory!
